Puppy, beginner and fun improver classes
If you're interested in joining a class, there are a number of options available to you at various times and days. Classes are under the "Home Farm Dog Training" umbrella and hold regular Kennel Club tests throughout the year.
The classes are held outside, a more natural setting which also gives you and your puppy plenty of space to learn together. Just be prepared for varying weather & terrain (don't worry, we reschedule in downpours!).
The beginner classes are structured to show you training foundations and how to build a happy relationship with your dog, following the Kennel Club Puppy Foundation Program. We do this using reward-based methods.
Improver classes start to introduce distance work, parkour exercises and add distractions to your training, it is highly recommended that you complete (in full) a basic course either with us or elsewhere before joining. All participants are welcome to work towards their Kennel Club Good Citizen tests that are periodically held at both the Little Berkhamstead and Barnet Venues.
Beginner/pup courses are 6-weeks long and £90
Bronze/improver Courses are in 5-week blocks and £65
Please fill in the registration form if you are interested in joining one of our classes and we will get back to you asap. You can also call but please make sure you leave a clear message. We try and respond to everyone within 24 hours.
All Classes are carried out by Rachel Wynn, BSc Canine Behaviour and Training, you can find out more about her here
